Our second annual event screening a selection of short films.
Wild & Scenic is held annually in January just outside Nevada City, CA. Now in it's 16th year, the festival focuses on films which speak to the environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet.
"Films featured at Wild & Scenic give people a sense of place,"
-Tour Associate Director, Amelia Workman.
In today's busy world, it is easy to disconnect from our role in the global ecosystem. When we realize that the change we need in this world begins with us, we start making a difference. Come get inspired!
To engage our community in the importance of sustainable agriculture, land conservation, and being an active participant in the world around us, we are featuring a selection of curated films revolving around these -- and related -- topics.
Viva Farms is a small-farm business incubator that preserves sustainable farming, and creates a strong and just food system. We support aspiring farmers by providing bilingual training in sustainable organic farming, and access to land, infrastructure, equipment, marketing and capital (The Essentials). We lower the barriers for beginning farmers, and create the opportunity for success. You can learn more about us at our website: vivafarms.org
This event is 21+.
